Summary:

The Agent responds to and initiates telephone, email and written communication to the policy holder/prospects for the purpose of selling and servicing AFI products.
  • Working within an inbound call center environment, gathers required information from policyholder and AFI computer systems in order to provide appropriate and accurate response that is consistent with insurance policy coverage terms and established AFI policies/procedures.
  • Evaluates current or prospective risk in order to provide a recommendation of acceptance, further review, or declination of risk.
  • Promotes sales of coverage (or upgraded coverage) with AFI by responding to the policyholder/prospect's insurance needs and providing solutions consistent with AFI's business and underwriting requirements.
  • Makes outbound calls to customers to provide or obtain additional information, follow up on previous contacts, or provide counsel on insurance decisions.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum two years customer service experience in a financial services or call center environment.
  • BA/BS degree and prior property casualty insurance experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Kansas insurance agent's license within 90 days in the position.
  • Should possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and overtime as required. Normal work hours will be between 8:00am and 6:30pm M-F.
Compensation:
  • Starting salary $35-45K, based on experience
