Strategic Therapy Associates is a family therapy agency that provides mental health and behavioral health services such as intensive in-home therapy, therapeutic day treatment services and outpatient therapy to at-risk children and their families.

We also provide mental health support services to adults with serious mental illness. Strategic Therapy Associates employs therapists, counselors, human services professionals and social work professionals who are interested in a unique, family-oriented/systems approach to working with clients, and who desire to help clients change the situations that maintain their involvement in the helping system.

A variety of problems are addressed, including abuse, neglect, court-related problems, and other mental health issues.Our goal is to prevent residential/in- patient placement and safely maintain clients in their homes and communities.Our offices are located in Lynchburg and Danville, Virginia, and services are provided in a 13 county/9 city area in Central and Southwest Virginia. Positions are available in Danville, Roanoke and Lynchburg, Virginia.

• ** We are also taking resumes for THERAPEUTIC DAY TREATMENT COUNSELOR to provide behavioral health services to at-risk youth in school and after-school settings helping to resolve the issues that are putting the children in an at-risk status, eliminating cause for out of school placement. They help empower children to make better choices, regulate their emotions, and effectively resolve their own problems. We use the Nurtured Heart Approach in our TDT programs.
