Environmental Consulting Services, Inc., a small environmental consulting company based in Middletown, DE, is actively seeking to fill an opening for a fisheries technician position. Primary responsibilities under this position involve the collection of larval and juvenile fish samples in the field and/or at a power generating facility in New Jersey, as well as working in a lab setting at the ECSI main office, processing related aquatic samples. Candidates for the position must be able to successfully pass a company drug screen, obtain unescorted access authorization from the power generating facility, must provide their own transportation, be able to perform shift work 3-4 days per week, and be available to work weekends and holidays. A Bachelor of Science in a complimentary field and fisheries experience preferred, but not required. Compensation starts at $12.00 per hour.
