Overview Provides professional services to facilitate the fulfillment of responsibilities by the executive officers. Collaborates with other coworkers in maintaining a comprehensive and efficient work flow by providing services to both internal and external personnel as expected by administration. Responsibilities Comprehends, executes, and contributes to organizational objectives. Gives evidence of sound independent judgment in processing requests and in directing calls to administrative personnel. Coordinates the activities of the office of the vice president(s) to whom she/he is assigned. Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and customer service skills Possesses the talent and skills to fulfill all responsibilities required for the coordination of special projects specific to the departments that report to her/his vice president(s). Collaborates with administrative coworkers in providing service to external groups contracted by this institution. Interacts with appropriate task forces and committees in maintaining data and updating information. Assigns priority to multiple tasks and manages confidential and/or sensitive information appropriately. Performs secretarial duties with accuracy and in a timely manner. Meets all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital. Responsible for performing all other duties as assigned. Special Projects Qualifications Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred and five years of previous work related experience. Proficiency in MS Office required: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint. Work requires communication skills needed to frequently answer telephone calls and work with multiple interruptions and still sustain positive communication.
