MobileTech is offering competitive pay for well qualified and highly skilled technicians based off prior work experience in the Automotive industry.

Summary:

Automotive Repair technician is responsible for identifying services/repairs needed, diagnosing, repairing and servicing early and late model, Asian, Domestic and some Europeans.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Examines customer vehicles.

• Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance.

• Diagnose customer concerns

• Maintains Customer Satisfaction Scores at or above company standards.

• Assist Service advisors with labor and part quotes.

• Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance.

• Document services and repairs performed.

• Performs services efficiently and according to OEM guidelines.

• Follows shop and manufacturer service guidelines.

• Requests necessary parts.

• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.

• Keep a clean and well organized work space.

• Understanding of J2534 programming some IMMO functions.

Essential Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of automotive experience as a Technician.

• ASE certifications are plus, we will get you ASE certified in 90 days.

• NC Safety & Emissions Inspector License a plus, we will get you licensed in 90 days.

• LSID a plus.

• A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

• Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.

• Professional appearance.

• Valid in-state driver’s license with good driving record and transportation

• Have own tools and tool box.

Other basic job requirements are as follows:

• Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system.

• Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

• The position requires regular and predictable attendance.

• Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Duties are performed primarily in the service area. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions. Frequently interacts with customers, service advisors and the service manager.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations. Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.
