Rewarding opportunity for experienced sales and marketing professional.# As a Residential Living Counselor, you#ll join a team of sales and design specialists who assist senior adult prospects from discovery to move in at our premier Life Plan Community.# You will use your exceptional people skills to build lasting relationships and help residents consider the tremendous benefits of a new life at Messiah Village. We#re looking to you to achieve occupancy goals through lead generation and conversion activities that include developing relationships with prospects as well as# hosting sales and educational events#. The Residential Living Counselor will implement the marketing activities set forth in the marketing plan. The Residential Living Counselor and the other members of this department are fully responsible for collecting social and financial and appropriateness of potential admissions all the way through to completion of a move to Residential Living. The Residential Living Counselor assists with establishing and maintaining records of incoming admissions and discharges, room changes and transfers within Residential Living. The Residential Living Counselor promotes feedback on customer satisfaction and staff performance through effective communication with staff and manages all information that is passed on/communicated to referral source. The Residential Living Counselor assists with performing a comprehensive competitive analysis on residential living at least once per year, summarizing recommendations in a report to the Executive Team . The Residential Living Counselor provides management with recommendations regarding necessary marketing communication materials, programs and/or promotional initiatives, based on customer and competitor knowledge. This team member will assist with the smooth transition of future residents into their new home. Positive relationships are to be nurtured that will instill trust and confidence for future residents through all phases of development and move-in. # # JOB STANDARDS Bachelor#s degree in health, social work, or business-related discipline, including nursing, rehabilitation therapy, medical marketing, design and/or sales or new business development. Strong background in sales, marketing and project management. A minimum of five years# relevant work experience is preferred. Must have excellent customer service skills and competencies, including excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills, and the proven ability to develop effective relationships with potential and existing customers. Ability to interact effectively with team members, prospects and their families and vendors at all levels. Embraces and actualizes the Messiah Lifeways Core Values and Core Competencies. Possesses strong competencies in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook including the use of word processing, spreadsheet and data base management capabilities. Develops a thorough understanding and capability in CRM database system. Demonstrated proficiency to browse the web to locate and use work-related information.##
