- Mostly evening shifts: 1-9 Monday through Thursday, day hours on Friday
- May help fill in with two day programs as well as assist with the TW expansion which is a day program.
- Between 10-20 hours per week to start; could also be called to fill in at the residential program if needed
- Will do screenings, assessments, registrations, orientations and group ( 3 hours)
- Will be trained to perform all IOP tasks.
- Could possibly travel to about 9 sites in the Houston area

*Will run 3 hour Education Adult group @ IOP from 11a-2p (Monday thru Thursday)
*Will assist with scheduled screenings & assessments
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Associates degree in a behavioral health-related discipline
- Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the State of Texas
- Completion of a DSHS-authorized internship; OR at least two (2) years of experience in a chemical dependency or related facility.

- Facilitates treatment from the screening process through discharge planning according to the age/needs of the patient population served.
- Facilitates individual sessions, process groups, patient and family education lectures, recording all pertinent patient information including individual and family sessions, Master Treatment Plan updates, and any other significant incidents daily.
- Participates in crisis management, motivational interviewing, life skills training, working directly with Employee Assistance Professionals, attending Return to Work meetings, and all corresponding paperwork.
- Considers the diverse needs of each patient through the entire continuum of care, providing and ensuring the highest level of service according to established service standards, optimizing the patient experience.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
