The Account Executive supports the account team by executing project tasks as necessary to enable the team to better manage projects. He/she is responsible for developing and implementing client initiatives under the direction of the AS or AD. He/she is also tasked with supporting the AS or AD by monitoring budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines, identifying and enlisting resources, and ensuring the quality of and timelines of final deliverables.

Position Requirements
Education:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in the health sciences, marketing, or communications field
- 1-3 years of work experience in healthcare, marketing or communications field
- Pharmaceutical or agency internship ideal
- Demonstrated leadership experience/potential
Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:
Client management
- Supports account team, specifically SAE/Account Supervisor (AS)
- Schedules and prepares materials for client meetings
- Documents client contacts (via e-mail), requests (change orders), and meetings (conference reports) concisely and accurately
- Researches and recommends (with AS/Assoc. Account Director [AAD]/Account Director [AD] approval) journals and conferences
- Submits abstracts/manuscripts and follows up on acceptance
- Performs research as directed by SAE/AS/AAD/AD
- Opens and closes jobs
- Maintains status report, including timelines
- Develops client/product meeting minutes and contact reports
- Maintains electronic and hard-copy job folders based on established procedures
- Handles mail, delivery, and pickup tasks as necessary for account team
- Performs other tasks as delegated by account team
- Assists with research as directed by AS/AAD/AD
- Prepares materials for presentations
- Assists with pre and post mailings
The candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with publication management software (eg, Datavision) a plus
- Excellent research/data entry skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Superior oral and written communications skills
- Ability to manage numerous projects, requests, and responsibilities
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
