Cummings Electrical is seeking a candidate for a long-term career opportunity that provides administrative support for our sales and marketing efforts and helps meet overall growth and profitability objectives for Cummings Electrical.
The Sales & Marketing Assistant position includes a wide range of administrative and support-related tasks. This candidate must be detail oriented, willing to take on regular projects on an as needed basis and assist in all daily operations of the Sales & Marketing Team.

- Fact-finding internet research
- Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing/advertising materials
- Maintain and update business contact information via the customer relationship management (“CRM”) system
- Maintain contractor pre-qualifications with Owners and General Contracting clients
- Format and print various reports for clients
- Order/re-order business forms
- Support for internal departments
- Prepare employee resumes to share with sales team for project pursuits
- Coordinate photography on recently completed construction projects
- Enter new project pursuits into our cloud-based database for the sales team
- Generate mailing lists based on specific parameters
- Minimum 2 to 4 years secretarial, administrative or office support experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities for managing interactions with individuals at all levels inside Cummings Electrical
- Ability to work with ambiguity, works well under pressure and anticipates next steps
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, efficient and detail oriented
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated employment stability

- Online pre-qualification systems
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
