Position Summary To independently manage moderately complex accounts while working at a strategic level to develop and retain consultative, partnership relationships with customers and prospects. To work in conjunction with Team Leader, Producers, and Crystal & Company resources in managing aspects of renewal and new business.

Essential Functions:

*Provides day-to-day collaboration, open communication, and feedback with domestic and international Employee Benefits Services team. Provides day-to-day assistance and updating in electronic systems and government required reports / audits. Provides support for day-to-day client activities.

*Answers client calls and emails including escalating issues to be handled by the Team Leader.

*At the start of the renewal process, approximately six months out from renewal date, explores and understands issues facing client organizations and the client's claim history, both of which may impact on the types and amount of coverage sought. Analyzes risks facing the client. With guidance from senior team members, assists in yearly renewal process through supporting the process of marketing and executing renewals in a timely manner. Generates accurate renewal rates, terms, and conditions.

* Compiles training material, marketing collateral, and presentations for clients and new

prospects.

*Assists with, designs, and creates Member / Employer communications such as, but not limited to, member benefit guides, enrollment announcements, health & wellness initiatives, e-mail blasts, flyers & bulletins, carrier announcements, and compliance & regulations.

*Assists with generating reports such as, but not limited to, enrollment, reconciliations, claims, and utilization. Assists with analysis reports (Excel spreadsheeting) to include marketing results.

*Coordinates logistics of market exhibit conventions, events, and conferences.

*Processes all invoices based on company accounting processes.

*Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience

Formal Education and Job-Related Experience:

This position requires a minimum formal education of Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 - 4 years job-related experience. Desired (not required) criteria include: Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

3 - 5 years of life and health insurance brokerage experience.

Industry specific experience related to assigned clients (e.g., financial, aviation, non-profit, etc.) is helpful in understanding clients' specific needs and language.

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Agency Management System proficiency is desirable.

Ability to pay attention to details and balance multiple tasks.

Technical knowledge to perform risk assessments and provide coverage recommendations for moderately complex employee benefits accounts.

License Registration and/or Credential Requirement:
