The Specialist Document Control (SAP PLM) has primary responsibility for data entry into SAP to support R&D and also other departments within R&D and Quality. The Specialist Document Control will create, update, and route product specifications that drive product commercialization through the PLM life cycle management software. Other responsibilities will be determined on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, update, and route specifications in PLM, specifically ingredient, recipes, formulas, components, and finished goods, at the direction of PLM Business Manager and/or R&D.
  • Support other functions within R&D and Quality in the SAP system, either through creation of DMS documents or other PLM data entry work.
  • Test new programming changes in the PLM system and report back results.
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with R&D and other departments that drive a sense of trust and collaboration.
  • Support R&D and Global Quality in document control and organization, through lab notebooks and MP3.
  • Support the Global Quality team in other areas as needed.
Job Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree. Computer Science preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience in data entry field.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications. (Excel, Access, Word)
