Night Maintenance Crew Members ensure proper location maintenance, equipment standardization and overall Mechanical Operational Excellence. Working closely with the Maintenance Director, Maintenance Crew Members, Area Directors and General Managers; Night Maintenance Crew Members organize and complete their assigned locations maintenance, as well as supervise equipment standardization.
Night Maintenance Crew Members will take ownership in their assigned locations by doing whatever it takes to ensure Mechanical Operational Excellence. Night Maintenance Crew Members report directly to an Area Director and receive guidance, support, and direction from the Maintenance Director.

2) Create a Safety Conscious Culture and Provide a Safe Work Environment You are responsible for the safety of your team and our customers at each of your respective locations.


-Cultivate a Safety First attitude with your teams Continually monitor and discuss safe work practices and principles; set an example by always working in a safe manner and wearing proper PPE; continually be on the lookout for any potential hazards and provide your management teams with feedback; issue safety violations when safety policies and guidelines are not being followed.

-Safety Audits Review and discuss each Safety Audit that is conducted on your locations with the safety coordinator and your respective management team.

3) Maintain Mechanical Operational Excellence at assigned locations


-Maintain Fix-It Books and proactively complete maintenance tasks at assigned locations

-Lead all maintenance related tasks at your locations. Prioritize and schedule maintenance related activities, as well as participate in maintenance projects at other locations as needed. You will be responsible for all non-emergency maintenance items at each assigned location.

-Complete all preventative maintenance at assigned locations schedule and complete all PM at each of your locations. Work with other night maintenance crew members to schedule work that requires 2 crew members to complete. (PM Schedule notes which tasks require 2 crew members)

-Assist other night maintenance crew members - as needed assist other crew members with tasks that require 2 crew members to complete.

-Conduct quality checks While at locations complete at least 1 quality check per week and provide feedback to location managers and your AD.

-Communicate all completed repairs or needed repairs Communicate all repairs to each location in a timely fashion.
Assist with on call repairs when demand requires.

-Facilitate Standardization Implementation and Compliance -

-Assist in Standards Establishment Assist in establishing standard equipment set-up; work with ADs to insure that all locations comply.

-Manage Parts on Hand Maintain Maintenance van and city Parts on Hand Guidelines, while working with location managers to assist assigned locations with Location Parts on Hand Guidelines. Communicates to AD locations level of compliance with parts on hand guidelines. Communicate to the Maintenance Director updates as needed to the parts on hand and tools on hand guidelines for the maintenance vans, city parts and location.

5) Conduct Management Maintenance Training -


- Conduct Maintenance Training - conduct a minimum of 1 hour per week of maintenance training courses and/or one-on-one training with location managers.

- Participate on Maintenance Review Boards at each of your locations

- Communicate to the Maintenance Director any updates needed to the preventive maintenance checklists or training materials
Conduct Electrical Certifications and Re-Certifications with all Management Team Members complete all electrical certifications for managers in training and re-certifications for transferred managers with a week of arriving at new location.
Complete Location Maintenance Performance Appraisals - Working closely with the appropriate AD, conduct semi-annual performance appraisals on each assigned location.


6) Optimize Mechanical Operational Excellence at assigned locations


-Communicate Location Maintenance Performance Communicate Locations excellent performance as well as opportunities for improvement to the respective AD.

-Minimize Customer Incidents - Review customer incident reports each period, identify trends, discuss with AD, and address opportunities for improvement.

-Proactively address potential issues Continually work towards improving operational excellence at each of your assigned locations

-Reduce Wash Downtime Review Wash Shutdown Reports when received; evaluate causes of downtime and generate a game plan for preventing similar breakdowns in the future. Discuss your findings and game plan with the appropriate AD.

-Planning - Attend all Maintenance Meetings. Review meeting with appropriate AD and Managers the contents of meeting.

-Lead Maintenance Update at Manager Meetings leading a 10-15 minute maintenance update at each of your locations manager meetings is required.

-Night Maintenance Crew Work Schedule Guidelines To perform the expectations ad responsibilities of this position, you will fulfill the following guidelines for your work schedule:

-Schedule** - You will average 45 hours per week, working 4 nights a week, typically working Monday night through Thursday night,10pm-9am shifts, occasional weekend shifts will be required

-Weekly 5 / 15 e-form and updated work log - You will prepare a 5/15 e-form and updated work log each week. The 5/15 e-form is used to communicate any issues to your AD/MD and the updated work log is completed and emailed to your AD/MD/GMs by the end of your work day on Friday. The updated work log highlights your accomplishments that week and goals for the coming week.
