Position Title: Account Executive

External Description: Lionbridge is seeking an Account Executive to join the US West Team in support of our Account Base on the West Coast. We are looking for candidates who have experience and are energized working with existing customers, who have an understanding about what it takes to speak and deal with mature Accounts and are motivated by helping to grow customer revenues and customer satisfaction within our existing accounts.

The right candidate will bring to this position: proven experience in growing an Account Base, strong operational knowledge, track record in driving operational excellence in a matrix environment, customer focus, history working with global marketing operations, ability to develop relationships and a passion for working with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively find new ways to build account business and grow assigned accounts with minimal direction.
  • Ability to lead/guide organization in best-of-class deliverables and quality of service with minimal direction
  • Master and maintain vast knowledge of customer’s business, competition, and latest industry news and trends.
  • Ability to build and adhere to best practices in Account Planning
  • Ability to work with delivery teams to ensure that projects are delivers to client's requirements.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of and act as primary customer point of contact representing all product and service lines to assigned accounts
  • Ability to successfully create, collaborate and deliver RFP response across multiple Lionbridge product and service offerings.
  • Create highly delighted and referenceable customers from assigned accounts.
  • Act as escalation point for operational issues for the client.
  • Support process innovation on projects.
  • Communicate account activities effectively.
Experience:
  • 5-8 years' experience in large scale solutions delivery to a strategic customer (MSFT experience a plus).
  • Operational background in Professional Services - execution within marketing services organizations a plus
  • Relationship management experience
  • Experience growing accounts and being comfortable measures on attainment
  • High-level client exposure, ability to speak to both business owners as well as execution stakeholders with ease
  • Strong customer focus
  • History working on global marketing projects, building and understanding project financials

  • Track record of year over year account growth
  • Ability to learn new fields of expertise in a dotted line environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiating skills and presentation skills
