We are looking for an SCCM Administrator, located in our Joliet, IL, Richardson, TX or Hickory NC office.
Responsible for the design, implementation, software configuration and maintenance of CommScope internal client compute systems including Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Mobile Devices, SCCM CB Services and servers. The SCCM Administrator will consult on complex technical issues, day to day maintenance/repair/upgrade/uplift of internal end user computing systems along with maintenance/repair/upgrade/uplift SCCM CB infrastructure, GPO management, software scripting, Applications, documentation, tier3 technology support, active directory management. Office Productivity tools and other related on-prem and cloud technologies. Respond to technical issues related to the deployment or maintenance of internal systems and company software. This position requires weekend and evening work.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Designs creates and maintains current and new processes utilizing SCCM CB for automation and deployment of internal client systems including operating system imaging, software packaging, scripting with PowerShell and or other programming languages and application deployment.
• Researches, troubleshoots, and resolves complex problems and computing issues related to the operation of internal client systems or enhancing existing systems
• Analyses data and or error reports from items such as hardware and software inventory to develop standard and custom reporting.
• Creates and maintains documentation to be used for the standard delivery of processes and deployment processes.
• Maintains a high level of knowledge to act as a lead within the client systems field.
• Records work activity using the company’s IT Service Management System
• Mentors and trains others with regard to client systems support.
• Maintains settings and files used for the deployment of client systems.
• Responds to and resolves issues with client systems deployment, maintenance, or monitoring systems during on and off working hours.
• Documents and provides written and verbal reports and presentations on the status of client systems maintenance and deployments to senior leaders.
• Document requests, issues and applied fixes in ticketing system.
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

SKILLS REQUIRED
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+years of relevant experience with SCCM on a global scale
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager on a global scale.
- Strong programming & scripting skills with PowerShell & PowerShell32 and or other programming languages.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
Highly Preferred Skills
- MSCE or MCITP or MCSD certifications
• Strong knowledge with the following:- SCCM CB 1706 System Center Management
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- Office 365 application usage
- Windows 7 & 10 in the areas of OS deployments, Image creation, distribution
- Windows 7/10 desktop migration (Windows 7 design/migrations, MDT, DDPS, MDOP, OSD, Office suite migrations.
- Application packaging & scripting
- Desktop and server patching
- Group policy management (GPOs)
- Tier 3 or high support tech support
- tEmail system support
- WQL or SQL query creation
- Active Directory management
- SAPGUI
- Hyper-V, VirtualBoxs, VMWare.
- Fluent in the technical support of multiple versions Windows operating systems.
- Familiar with Cloud computing in design and troubleshooting.
- Experience with endpoint encryption software, such as Bitlocker and McAfee.
