About this job

East Coast territory responsibility sales solicitation out of our Rockaway, NJ offices. Generation of sales leading to business-to-business advertisers selling both online and display advertising in the specified territory. Candidate should be versed at calling on all levels of management from marketing through owners and executives, confident speaking in front of groups, collaborative effort when necessary to solidify contracts.
Plan, develop, and implement strategic account plans for assigned accounts and prospects which includes both creative short and long term sales strategies to increase revenue and market share. Develop new business while maintaining existing accounts in assigned territory offering creative ideas to maximize profits by monitoring and evaluating changes in market or customer situations and identifying emerging trends. Ensure both clients and prospects have full understanding of ABM products through a consultative selling approach.

Seek out clients' needs and present best solution that will maximize their return-on -investment. Collaborate where necessary to other sales team members to ensure company goals and initiatives are being met. Meet with department managers for full understanding of product offerings as well as to keep up on industry trends in digital media.

Ensure current client satisfaction by immediate responses to concerns, needs or problems.

Responsible for attaining and exceeding revenue goals as well as account retention goals.
Maintain all contact information on current clients and prospective clients using CRM software on a regular basis.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Equivalent. Related experience in Marketing and/or Sales necessary
Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in Sales or related field within the online advertising community.
Analytical, highly motivated, persuasive, and have strong oral and written communication skills.
Possess a demonstrated ability to be flexible, have a broad product knowledge base, and to deal with a variety of demanding customers.
Ability to communicate in a way that demonstrates respect for client while assisting in crafting messages based on their audience needs.
Proficient selling, presentation, time management, computer and mentoring skills.
Able to entertain and travel to customer sites and industry functions (25%)
