The NPR (non-product related or indirect) procurement team is responsible for sourcing, supplier management and contracting across all non-product related goods & services globally in all 3 major regions – Europe, Asia and US. The team consists of procurement professionals with a can-do mentality that are capable of building bridges with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

To lead and improve the NPR Procurement activities for Wilton, CT. To focus on achieving financial and non-financial goals that are aligned within ASML’s Sourcing organization and
stakeholders.

Jobholder is responsible for the local supply management of all respective commodities within NPR. He or she acts as a strong leader to assure the realization of strategic, tactical and operational goals.

Job Description

The NPR Procurement Account Manager is responsible for further strengthening and development of ASML’s Non Product Related (NPR) Procurement team and will operate in the
supply market IT (Services, Hard- and Software), Facilities Management & Travel, Logistics (warehousing, transport and express) and Temporary labour & Professional services (including consultancy and outsourced design work). He or she is responsible to drive the realization of strategic, tactical and operational goals for the management of the supply chain in Wilton. Ensures local needs are captures into global and regional purchasing strategies across all categories. Where relevant, builds long term relationships with suppliers.

The NPR Procurement Account Manager has interfaces with IT, Development & Engineering, Manufacturing & Planning, Facilities, Logistics, Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance and Legal, and participates in category teams. Assures a timely balance between committed supply capacity and expected market requirements. Manages overall procurement processes and drives for continuous improvements at the suppliers on value sourcing. Leads by setting the example in market benchmarking, supplier management and negotiations.

Education

Master-degree in a relevant area (e.g. technical study, Technical Business Management, Business Economics combined with Procurement related courses) or equivalent experience.

Experience

- > 10 Years of work experience in a professional, complex and international environment. Excellent project manager with proven ability to successfully manage high level, high tech projects with a scope across the whole value chain. Analytical, structured, accurate and able to maintain overview, assess priorities and focus on concrete results. Multidisciplinary approach.
  • Needs to have experience in one or more area of indirect procurement.
  • Team player with proven ability to successfully manage complex multi-disciplinary projects.
