If you have a mechanical apptitude and enjoy working with your hands this is the job for you! We need customer focused candidates that are inpiring to learn a new skill and purpose! White Glove Customer Service is our focus. We focus on Safe, Door Hardware, locksmith, and mechanical work.

Service Technician:
  • Prepare safes for delivery to customers. This will require the safes be pulled from inventory, combinations set, locks installed, and ensured the safe is in good working order, free from defects and ready for the customer. Then the safes, if being shipped, must be placed on a pallet and securely strapped down.
  • Organize and Maintain Warehouse. Includes the moving or stacking of safes that could range from 60lbs. – 4000 lbs.
  • Refurbish old/used safes so that they are in good working order and presentable to prospective customers. Requires a strong mechanical background and attention to detail is a must. You may be asked to sand, paint, cut, file down, weld, and many other tasks that will be dependent on getting the safe presentable.
  • Assist on deliveries or safe moves – requires heavy lifting and manual labor. Safe deliveries can be a 60lbs. safe that you will bolt down to a closet shelf, a 1,500-lb. safe that is going up a flight of stairs, or a 4,000lb. safe that is being pulled across flooring.
  • Conduct Service Calls for Mancini customers at locations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. Includes a wide range of safe work, including drilling open safes, installing locks and other parts, repairing damaged parts, setting combinations, educating customers, etc. This will require you to carry your tool bag and a standard supply of parts.
  • Oversee the maintenance of Company Vehicles are up to par but with an eye toward limiting expense. Obviously, maintenance will prevent large expenditures down the road, but understand the “nice to have” and “need to have”. Care should be taken to routinely clean, keep orderly, and stocked.
  • Inventory Control: Designate the responsibility of the Maintenance of the Parts Room. The Parts Room can be re-organized, but all parts should be kept in an orderly fashion with appropriate labeling. Make Office aware of when a part should be re-ordered, with an eye towards turnaround time, so that we can be certain not to run out.
  • As the Service Manager, you are expected to be a vocal leader who expresses his opinions and thoughts on issues related to the company and its employees. You are also expected to set the tone and provide an example to your direct reports of what is and what is not appropriate. Safety should be at the forefront in everything that you do.
