Looking to Travel with Concord and share your Sales Expertise?

We are currently hiring a Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing to assist in various locations around North America. Role is task force oriented and requires heavy travel. Hired candidate could be on the road for weeks at a time and will work out of home when not in field. Must be located near major airport hub in an existing multi-hotel Concord Market. Great opportunity to train, motivate and develop other hotel sales leaders, work with new acquisitions, and assist in hotel openings.

The Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing’s primary goal will be to positively impact Concord hotels revenue performance through deployment on project assignments at identified hotels requiring a supplemental sales effort. Further, this position will be involved in leading key company Sales processes and initiatives. The responsibilities will differ with each assignment and it is important that this candidate have knowledge in multiple brands as well as multiple types of hotels from select service to extended stay and including full service to our newer lifestyle brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary role of CDSM is the successful continuation of sales focus at an assigned deployed hotel. Tasks will be to maintain sales presence in market through direct sales calls and accomplishing or directing the hotels sales execution from the current sales action or marketing plan.

CDSM must work with Regional Sales Leader and GM to ensure there are clear assignments as to which accounts, segments, competitors, or other market lead generators that are to be prospected and shared shifted to the host hotel.

CDSM should clearly document all sales activities in hotel sales system so their scope of work can be clearly identified and ROI analysis of their time deployed against the hotels sales effort can be measured.

Some hotel assignments may require the CDSM to take a more active leadership role vs. a direct sales responsibility. This could be direct training of new hires, assist a hotel with organizing proper Concord sales processes, or leading a hotels sales department in the absence of an on-property sales leader.

CDSM must have working knowledge of all major brand sales systems, RFP Processes, traditional Delphi, Delphi fdc and Concord’s essential lead generation tools such as Agency 360, RPM, Insight, etc.

CDSM will assist with Marketing Plan reviews, Monthly Action Plans, Property Sales Reviews, Recruitment, Reporting, and any other assignments as provided by the VP of Sales & Marketing.

Must be proficient at using Concord & Brand analytics reporting to understand hotels forecast, need dates, depth of sales chart, value propositions, etc.

Must work closely with Revenue Analyst and Digital Marketing Manager during assignment to ensure revenue maximization.

Where assigned, CDSM may be tasked with taking direct responsibility for marketing, direct sales and awareness efforts for pre-opening sales or newly renovated hotels, or transition hotels which includes leading pre-opening sales efforts and pre-opening marketing checklist.

Take leading role in company and regional sales initiatives as directed by the SVP of Sales.

Requirements

5+ years Hotel Director of Sales Experience or Lead Sales Manager
Multi Brand Experience
Able to Travel for durations of up to 2-3 weeks at a time
Seasoned on various sales systems including Delphi and at least 2 PMS
Must be excellent in communication, motivation and organization
