Employees are to stock beverage carts with cold drinks and snacks such as: canned beers, sodas, bottled water, and sports drinks; according to Manager/Supervisor Pre-Determined Par Levels. Employees are to successfully return beverage cart back to outlet, proceed to check-in all inventory goods, and ring up all sales accordingly. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS : EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

   

Education: Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.  Grade school education preferred.

Experience: No prior experience required.  Prior hospitality experience preferred.

Licenses or certificates A valid driver’s license is needed. The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

·         Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.

·         Ability to organize and keep track of beverages and cash handling procedures.

·         Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, communicate with guests.

·         Ability to remember holes on the golf course and also the ability to drive a beverage cart.

·         Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks at any given time.

·         Ability to handle incoming phone calls and keeping track of reservations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Retrieve Beverage Cart and Keys.

Proceed to Beverage Room to gather items for cart.

Gather all beverages and snacks needed for cart.

Locate a sufficient amount of coolers for cart.

Ensure that the coolers have been cleaned out before stocking with items.

Stock beverages into coolers accordingly.

Ice down all coolers with beverages.

Stock snack items in coolers accordingly.

Ensure that the beverage cart is properly stocked and ready to go.

Refurbish all stock as necessary throughout shift.

Manager is to sign off on requisition for any additions to inventory for cart.

Under No Circumstances Should the Beverage Cart Leave the Course!

                                             

Locate an empty push-cart.

Gather all unsold goods and return to storeroom.

Get with a manager or Purchasing employee for checking in inventory.

Ensure that manager has signed off and accounted for all inventory items.

Clean out all storage areas in beverage cart prior to leaving.

Ring up all sales into Micros System correctly.

Make sure all sales tickets, account charges, and Cashier Financial match correctly.

Organize all paperwork and drop it off at Front Desk.

These procedures are to be completed at all times for beverage cart shifts.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Benchmark from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.  Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Benchmark rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

      MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

      In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.

Work with pro shop with numbers for guests and also golf outings.

Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing cart.

Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.

Starting Pay Rate $8.00 + Tips
