Electronic Service Technician- Manufacturing - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary:

This is the performance of technical work in the installation, calibration, maintenance, assembly, and repair of welding power supplies and weld heads.

Job Responsibilities:

· Assists in the construction and/or modification of automated welding equipment and devices.

· Calibrates, repairs, cleans and lubricates electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and devices.

· Fabricates electronic instrumentation from schematic wiring and component level diagrams.

· Sets up electronic welding equipment for customer orders and engineering prototypes while checking for proper operation. Inspects, troubleshoots and performs preventive maintenance on various electronic monitors and equipment.

· Must possess:

o Knowledge of the principles and techniques of basic electric power, electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies.

o Knowledge of the construction, use and operation of complex electronic equipment and devices.

o Knowledge of computers and word processing/spreadsheet software.

o Ability to read and understand electronic and electrical specifications, diagrams and manuals.

o Ability to use standard electronic and electrical test equipment and bench tools.

o Ability to analyze wiring diagrams.

Job Requirements

Completion of an accredited post-high school program in electronics or electrical engineering equivalent to an Associates Degree or higher.

1 to 3 years electronic repair experience.

Prior experience or training on Liburdi Dimetrics welding power supplies and weld heads.

Must be able to travel to customer site to perform on site repairs and calibrations.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
