Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Engages in opportunity research through marketing data and direct customer contact, with strong focus on ROI.
- Assists in building a best-in-class new customer/market engagement process, leveraging internal and external resources as needed.
- Develops methodology and actively engages in marketing and selling our capabilities to open new customers and markets.
- Drive Market Development plans in support of the company business plan.
- Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging and pricing strategy.
- Participates in advertising and promotion activities.
- Cultivates, manages and nurtures relationships with key customers as well as external resources/vendors that result in reliable, quality products and ultimately client satisfactio
Requirements:
- 10 plus years in Business Development / Market Development role.
- Experience supporting sales in Manufacturing organization.
- MBA preferred.
- Sales experience in Lighting market preferred (plastics or otherwise).
Compensation:
- Base plus bonus based on achievement of key market development and new business objectives. It is not based on commissioned sales.
