Bakery Production Worker - Full-time / Part-time

White's Bakery & Cafe in Brockton is seeking a Full-Time Baker to join our team. We are an expanding, full service retail bakery- highly dependent on creativity, new ideas and keeping up to speed with the ever growing cake/ bakery market.

• Prior baking experience (at least 1 year) is necessary.
• The ability to work in an extremely high volume, fast paced environment is a must.
• The ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day, and lift 50+ pounds is also necessary.
• Must have the ability to work 40-60 hours per week during holiday times (Christmas, Thanksgiving & Easter) with no exceptions.
• Candidate must be reliable, and have a positive, team oriented attitude at all times.

As part of out bakery production team, you will be expected to adhere to a daily production schedule as outlined by the Head Baker and/ or department head. This includes a wide range of breakfast pastries (croissants, muffins, scone, danish) as well as pies, puff pastry, bread, cake, cheesecake and various other items. The ability to be self sufficient and troubleshoot daily hurdles is a major plus. Prior experience laminating and folding dough, working and shaping various doughs and being proficient with basic bakery tools such as mixers, proofers, sheeters and ovens is preferred but not necessary.
