Job Description

Since 1991 Doug’s Fish Fry has been serving the Cortland community with a smile on our faces. Our establishment offers our customers fresh seafood, a comfortable atmosphere and excellent customer service.

Doug’s Fish Fry is currently seeking an experienced restaurant manager who is team oriented, professional and qualified to join our management team. This team member would work together to manage the crew and oversee operations of our establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of our restaurant’s policies and procedures, and will participate in achieving our revenue objectives. As restaurant manager, you will work with our existing management team to control food costs, staff restaurant and train new employees.

 

Requirements:

· Experience in the food service industry

· Work approximately 40-50 hours weekly (ranging from 9:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m.)

· Weekend availability

· Work with our existing management team to achieve greatness in our establishment

· Commitment to provide excellent customer service

· Ensure operational standards are consistently met

· Control food costs

· Ensure all menu items are properly made and presented according to Doug’s recipes and standards

· Crew development: work with other managers to train and mentor all existing crew members and new crew members

· Maintain the cleanliness of our establishment as according to Doug’s standards

 

Qualifications:

· Associates degree preferably in the hospitality/restaurant industry

· preferred 2 years restaurant experience

· Leadership and communication skills

· Ability to prioritize and multitask
