Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Property Damage Restoration Team Leader with IICRC certifications - candidates MUST have at least 2 years of experience in the emergency service industry (water damage industry).

We are expanding due to our excellent service, with over 10 years of operational experience, and we are seeking a full time water damage production team leader in the Sacramento area to join our already successful team. This is NOT a construction job . PTLs (production team leaders) primarily respond to emergencies and losses involving properties that have been damaged by fire, smoke, water, or mold.

Some PTL roles will include:

  • Confidently speaking to experienced adjusters and mitigation specialists justifying your drying approach.
  • Overseeing one or more technicians working below you.
  • Taking moisture readings and entering data into an iPad or writing it down on worksheets.

Candidates must be able and willing to work some nights and weekends earning over-time pay when applicable (on a rotational basis). Candidates will be neat, clean cut and reliable. Experience within the restoration, remediation and/or mitigation industry is a MUST, as is IICRC certifications. Only serious, experienced applicant's resumes will be reviewed. We are currently conducting interviews.

Job requirements:

  • Over 2 years experience in the restoration field (water, smoke and mold) is required.
  • PTLs must be able to draw neat dimensional diagrams (home floor layouts).
  • All applicants must be drug free and have a clean drivers license.
  • Clean background (background check and DMV record will be reviewed prior to start-date).
  • Must have own reliable transportation 24 hours a day in order to get to work.
  • You must be physically capable of moving furniture and other household contents, including equipment weighing 70+ lbs.
  • Besides working regular full time hours, must be willing to participate in a 24-hour, on-call rotation (doesn't happen often but does from time to time).
  • Education Level: High School or equivalent - Intermediate computer skills, primarily using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc).
  • Knowledge/understanding of Xactimate is required.
  • Industry Experience and IICRC certification is required (WRT, AMRT, ASD).
  • Candidates must reside within a 40 minute drive or less from Rancho Cordova, CA.

  • Job Status: Full-time (hourly)
  • Job Shift: Varies (mostly day shift; however some after hours, weekends, holidays may be necessary)
  • Income Potential: PTLs from $35,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year plus discretionary bonuses, pre-approved overtime etc
