Job Description
Kings Mountain International, a leader in the processing and finishing of architectural press plates for the laminating and aero-space industries, has an outstanding opportunity for a Graphic Arts Assistant Manager near Charlotte, NC. We are a privately-owned company just 30 miles west of Charlotte, NC, the home of the Carolina Panthers and NASCAR! We are eighty strong and growing! We are seeking to hire for this new position. We are seeking someone who is motivated, has experience with Spot Colors, as well as Process Colors; and who possesses a creative imagination for three-dimensional thinking. This position has growth opportunity with the Company!
Responsibility
· Assists Director with fielding and completion of customer orders.
· Professionally communicates with customers, working to build client relations.
· Assists in the supervision of two Graphic Artists/Designers.
· Prioritizes, tracks, and maintains various records for the department.
· Provides Marketing ideas in a collaborative effort with Graphic Arts Team.
Requirements
· The ideal candidate has a strong background in Spot Colors, Process Colors, and Three-Dimensional Thinking, as well as large format printing with experience in decorative print or engraving.
· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and/or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Possesses the ability to:
· clearly communicate verbally and in writing,
· make sound and independent decisions, and
· holds self and others accountable,
· Some occasional travel is required to include international travel.
