Job Description

Keena, a San Francisco-based manufacturers’ representative firm, is looking for a Las Vegas showroom manager and sales rep.

With a distinctive and design-driven point of view, our portfolio covers a wide array of home, gift and fashion accessories lines.  We offer a strong product mix including decorative accessories, tabletop, home fragrances, textiles, kids, apparel and jewelry. Our customer base includes better independent stores and designers. Keena holds excellent placement in the most prominent trade shows on the West Coast, including permanent showrooms in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and the Bay Area.

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, dynamic personality to join our team as a part time Showroom Manager (Vegas based) and Sales Rep.

Showroom Manager Responsibilities include:

  • Day in day out maintenance of the showroom, including merchandising, product display, ticketing, management of catalogs, price lists and product samples (packing/unpacking/shipping/displaying)
  • Purchasing and inventorying supplies
  • Assisting customers at the showroom as needed
  • Coordinating trade show setup and sales

Sales Responsibilities include:

  • Generating sales by servicing new and existing customers;
  • Regularly visiting customers;
  • Communicating with vendors and customers;
  • Working with industry-standard software;
  • Participating in multiple tradeshows per year.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in working in the wholesale or retail industry (strongly preferred);
  • Trade show experience;
  • Visual merchandising experience;
  • A car, a personal computer, a smart phone and a home office;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, detail orientation, above average follow-through;
  • A positive and self-starting attitude, multi-tasking personality and a strong work ethic;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • A discerning taste and strong interest in interior design and/or fashion.

Compensation and structure:

  • Base for showroom management and commission for sales.
  • Part Time, Independent Contractor position.
  • Sharp increase in hours before and during market week (twice a year).
