Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

Experience managing a high-volume e-commerce website.

Proven leadership managing an e-commerce team that consists of developers, product managers, and marketers in the day-to-day e-commerce responsibilities of maintaining and performing top data driven analysis to increase customer acquisition, loyalty and achieve traffic and sales performance for Kali Beauty.

Work closely with existing and new vendor partners, internal and external, to develop a digital strategy for the DTC brands including SEO, PPC, Social Media Management and remarketing.

Develop and execute business strategies to continue improvements through digital operations, web technologies, and site merchandising to deliver a cohesive online experience.

Responsible for the creative process for the Kali Beauty (Photoshoots, catalogs, branding, advertisements, etc.)

Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics.

Analyze KPI’s and metrics to locate trends and implement ideas to generate growth and maximize conversion rates.

Provide expertise on current e-commerce industry best practices. Consult on cross-functional projects to ensure e-commerce principles are incorporated

Identify new areas of ecommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking

Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions

Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives

Work closely with existing and new vendor partners, internal and external, to develop a digital strategy for Kali Beauty including SEO, PPC, Social Media Management and remarketing.

Experience in merchandising and traditional marketing is a plus

Lead, coach, and manage the e-commerce, digital marketing and operation teams to optimize sales and ensure online site performance and user experience.

Responsible for the P&L for e-commerce

 

Qualifications and Skills

Ability to procure and manage 3rd party digital platforms, ie drop-ship and wholesale accounts

Knowledge of Shopify and/or similar E-Commerce POS platforms

Understanding of HTML and CSS

Experience in SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing and display advertising

Keen eye for digital merchandising

Intermediate knowledge of Adobe creative suites, Photoshop in particular

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work well across multiple departments and individually strategic initiatives to strengthen our customers relationship to the brand.

5+ years in ecommerce and Marketing

BA or BS required

Kali Beauty is a rapidly growing, exciting beauty brand in Northwest Indiana with two premium retail stores and a third slated to open this April. Our stores carry a large selection of high-end brand products including Babyliss Pro, Crown Brush, Hot Tools Professional, and many more!

We are seeking an e-commerce manager who is a resourceful leader with a start-up mentality to grow our e-commerce team. The e-commerce manager will manage Kali Beauty’s online initiatives with the goal of multiplying traffic and increasing revenue. The professional we seek must be highly motivated and creative individual who has experience driving conversion and retention, owning the online marketing calendar, site user experience, and managing 3rd party vendor relationships.
