We are currently seeking a Beverage Manager with F&B Operations experience. This is a full time position with competitive benefits including medical, dental, paid time off, daily staff meals and relevant educational support.

The Beverage Manager will oversee all beverage operations including beverage selection, staffing, ordering, pricing and inventory. The Beverage Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Club’s wine, beer, liquor and specialty cocktail programs. Additionally, the Beverage Manager will play an active, leading role in managing a la carte dining operations, frequently serving as the closing Food and Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Conducting the ordering and stock maintenance of liquor, wine, beer, soft drinks, glassware and other bar supplies. Performs monthly inventory for all beverages.

  • Maximizing beverage revenue while controlling costs to meet budgetary goals.

  • Development and promotion of the club’s wine program, including selection and ordering of wines, staff training, wine promotions, and the development and execution of wine dinners, tastings and other special events.

  • Recruiting, training, and supervising qualified staff, providing exceptional service and programs for the members of the Club.

  • Actively managing front-of-house service staff to ensure the highest levels of food and beverage service in the member dining areas.

  • Performing bar and restaurant closing duties on a regular basis.

The Beverage Manager will report directly to the Food & Beverage Director and is also responsible for HR duties, payroll and scheduling.

Requirements –

  • Two years (2) experience as a Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Level 2 Sommelier certification or equivalent educational background required.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of beer and spirits.
  • Must be TiPS certified (or equivalent).
