Retail Sales Associate and Flooring Sales Estimator

(Two positions)

Cloister Flooring America is looking for a Retail Sales Associate and a Flooring Sales Estimator to join our Lititz, Pa. showroom team. More than just a flooring specialty store, our team is trained in flooring sales and design.

The Retail Sales Associate will be the clients trusted advisor in their decision making. This will include client appointments, the best design that fits the customers style/budget/desires, create drawing/job scope/estimate, and the closing phase of installation. As a team player, the Retail Sales Associate assists in answering calls, maintain showroom appearance, greet walk-in customers and work the showroom floor.

The Flooring Sales Estimator/Contract Sales Assistant will assist in the sales process that will provide better and quicker service to our clients. This will include drawing in projects from scratch or from imported prints. The Flooring Sales Estimator/Contract Sales Assistant will process leads, develop quotes and work orders, documentation for submittals/follow-ups, and work with builders and remodel clients with their selection process for their customers.

Expectations for Retail Sales Associate:
• Assemble price quotes for the customer
• Managing multiple projects at the same time
• Inputting sales orders to the computer
• Networking regularly and working effectively with other store employees
• Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns
• Prospecting for new business

Qualifications for Flooring Sales Estimator:
• Retail experience a plus
• Must have open and flexible work availability
• Must be computer savvy
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Professionalism, to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality
• Self-motivated and internally driven to excel in your position and career
• Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines and deliverables
• Proficiency in RFMS Measure and Measure Mobile 3
