Position Overview:
- The E-Commerce Merchandising Assistant expectations and responsibilities are the following:
- - Identify actionable opportunities to increase sales and SKU productivity
- - Manage price changes and sale pricing
- - Proactively identify which SKUs will need to be reordered and the timing to prevent stock-outs
- - Understand how historical events and adjustments impacted sales
- - Understand how future events and adjustments will impact sales
- - Understand expenses structure, including everything between product margin and gross margin
- - Create SKU level forecasts covering at least six months into the future
- - Collaborate with the Category Management and Global Sourcing departments to finalize reorders
- - Collaborate with the Category Management, Marketing, and Merchandise Planning departments to affect sales as necessary
Applicant Qualifications:
- - 2 years of college education or relevant experience
- - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- - Strong computer skills (Must be proficient with MS Excel)
- - Ability to learn and understand new programs and processes
- - Detail orientated with an attention to accuracy
- - Ability to multitask
- - Above average knowledge of retail and/or ecommerce
- - Prioritize tasks to meet multiple and changing deadlines
- - Reliable transportation
- - Must be able to pass a background check
