Night Manager - Manufacturing - Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking a Night Manager to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams by prioritizing production
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Supervise Start-up and Shut-down of the Chlorine Dock and Beach Manufacturing (including the operation and maintenance of all packaging equipment: gas detectors, gauges, probes, calcium air dryers, etc.)
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Inspection of the chemical quality control reports to ensure that chemical product tests are properly recorded and that the chemical products meet the required sales specifications.
• Knowledge of environmental regulatory standards and company policy regarding a release of a chemical to the environment and the understanding of waste management requirements related to the storage and disposal of required materials.
• Must be HAZWOPPER trained ( will train): respond to all hazardous material incidents on or off-site and properly documenting all responses (includes follow-up notifications, if required)
• Comply with all government operating permits and reporting requirements
• Ensure that all emergency response equipment/materials are in a state of readiness
• Supervise the collection of data for daily, monthly and yearly inventories
• Ensure that all production paperwork is properly completed and maintained
• Implement and adhere to the Responsible Distribution Program
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, which includes all production and storage areas, the office, shop and yard.
• Ensure that the facility is secure during and after work hours
• Ensure that orders are placed for production and maintenance materials and supplies
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Work hours are generally between 11pm - 8am. However, you may be required to occasionally work other shifts/hours as the need arises.

• 2+ years of manufacturing management experience
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
