Job Description
We are seeking a part time Deli Clerk (approximately 25 hours/week) to become an important part of our team! Job description includes preparing food items such as salads, and sub sandwiches, using a meat slicer, and general maintenance of work area.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Prepare orders quickly and efficiently
- Explain products and services to customers when necessary
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Receive and neatly write phone orders
- Light cleaning and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in deli, sandwich shop, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build rapport with customers and co-workers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
