Territory Retail Sales Representative - Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking experienced Retail Sales Representatives. In this position, you would be responsible for the selling and merchandising of designated products in a define retail sales territory. These territories would include supermarket chains, co-operatives and independent stores.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that a proper level of stock is maintained and the merchandise is displayed appropriately while attaining shelf management objectives set by principals
• Store Level Program Selling
• Maintains customer, client and consumer satisfaction through frequent and consistent store calls
• Sells and builds displays in support of feature activity, secondary displays and priority/seasonal items; packs out shelves as required
• Develops a close and productive working relationship with appropriate buyers and executives at indirect headquarter accounts
• Reports Local Ad Pricing
• Maintains an effective territory route plan
• A team player and someone that is honest and forthright with management; and works well with peers; adheres in all respects to C.A. Fortune Code of Business Conduct

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good mathematical skills
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret plan-o-grams for various categories at given accounts
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean DMV report

Travel Requirements:

• Store to Store travel in assigned territory

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to Retail Supervisor
• Part-time Position

Compensation:

• Salary commensurate with level of experience
• Monthly Car Allowance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires constant handling of merchandise, Retail Sales representatives must be prepared to travel, drive and engage in a large amount of physical activity. This job entails the lifting and moving of products. This job also involves standing, kneeling, stooping or crouching. At times the physical lifting limit may reach 55 pounds.
