Part Department Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

C&C Lift Truck, Inc., located in Edison, NJ is currently searching for a Parts Department Associate. Founded in 1977, C&C Lift Truck Inc. has continuously grown over the past 40 years to become one of the leading forklift dealerships in the Tri-State area, and the #1 Komatsu dealer in the country. Day-to-Day responsibilities include:

· Research and lookup of forklift breakdown descriptions and required parts

· Placing orders and issuing corresponding purchase orders to vendors

· Answering inbound phone calls from customers and mechanics to fill parts requests

· Light filing

· Order picking and stocking

· Customer service duties and follow up with call-in, walk-in and internal (department) customers

The ideal candidate will have:

· At least 3 years of experience with in the parts department of a forklift dealer or repair facility

· Prior experience using parts breakdown diagrams to determine correct parts from verbal descriptions

· Ability to handle heavy phone and e-mail to support both internal and external customers

· Attention to detail

· Experience in customer service, resolving conflicts and issues as they arise

· Ability to go above and beyond when the need arises

· Familiarity with forklift operation

· A friendly, positive attitude

Qualifications

· Familiarity working with Windows and Microsoft office suite

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as a team

· High School Diploma or certified equivalent

· Can lift up to 50lbs.

· Valid driver’s license
