About the Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist

Job Summary

The Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist will work with Logistics, Procurement, Customer Service and Warehouse departments to list and sale items via online sales outlets.  This position will gather information about inventory items for sale, photograph, and develop ecommerce listings with written descriptions of semiconductor or other items and upload these items to predetermined marketplace.  This position will help to develop strategies for successful listing and boosting sales of online inventory, keep track of sales performance and other metrics, provide reporting and assist with product research and cost analysis.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Daily management of e-commerce marketplace operations and relations.
  • Create, manage, and optimize listings for maximum visibility and effectiveness.
  • Detailed maintenance and improvement of listings (title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.) to increase product ranking.
  • Creating routine shipments and invoices.
  • Monitor competition across e-commerce platforms.
  • Create periodic reports.
  • General office work and routine tasks involving customer service.
  • Develop and execute specific strategies for boosting sales performance in e-Commerce
  • Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation
  • Optimize online content through research, edits, proofs and tests online, to communicate with target consumers and maximize sales
  • Pricing – Internet research
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely manner to maintain high customer rating and satisfaction as a seller on all third party marketplace platforms
  • Forecasted weekly/monthly/quarterly sales
  • Other duties assigned

Knowledge & Skills:

  • ·Semiconductor equipment/parts experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Perseverance and commitment to getting the job done
  • Strong work ethic with an un-wavering attention to detail.
  • Tech savvy.
  • Photography skills are a plus.
  • Ecommerce experience is a MUST
