Furniture Retail Sales Consultant - Full-time / Part-time

We are an Interior Design and Furnishings showroom located at Posner Park, off of I-4 Exit 55 located between JC Penny and Best Buy, an extremely high traffic location generating lots of leads every day. Our team specializes both in residential and vacation home furnishings. We are also the Preferred Interior Design Partner of Lennar Homes Orlando which also provides many solid referral leads.

Our Sales/Design Associates are a major driving factor behind Design2Live and its success in the retail industry. Proven Sales Experience and a sincere interest to create beautiful rooms for our clients. Not required, but a real plus if you're experienced in Home Furnishing Sales! Tell us you can sell and we'll train you on products and design.

Requirements:

· Circulate the sales floor and approach customers in a timely manner. Follow greeting requirements.
• Qualify customer needs. Based on the customer’s responses, suggest products that will meet their needs. Inform, demonstrate and educate the customers on features and benefits of the products.
• Efficiently manage the sales process. Point out advantage of add-on-products. Handle and overcome objections. Close sales. Provide necessary point-of-sale information.
• Follow the sales floor guidelines with each and every customer. Follow exit requirements. Reinforce purchase decision.
• Accurately enter orders into the system. Handle customer service issues as authorized.
• Follows up with customers after delivery.

Responsibilities:

· Greet and engage customers, discovering their home furnishing needs and helping them make their design vision become a reality

· Provide world class customer service and offer customers an unforgettable shopping experience

· Build rapport with clients, earning their business through your ability to demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent listening skills

· Develop and maintain a customer base through networking and client follow up to ensure customer satisfaction before and after the sale

· Generating sales through a low pressure consultative approach

Requirements:

· Energetic, self-motivated sales professional with exceptional interpersonal, listening and communication skills, bilingual a plus!

· Ability to network and build relationships with customers

· Competitive, goal oriented nature with the ability to work well in a team environment

· Flexibility to work a 5 day retail schedule that includes nights, weekends (both Saturdays and Sundays), and holidays

· Basic computer skills

· Previous sales experience in retail or commission based sales environment are a plus, but not required

· Strong organizational skills
