Highly professional organization seeks dynamic, positively energetic, results-proven, profit-minded Retail Sales Account Manager with 5+ years experience and proven verifiable track record to market and manage all sales channels on a national level and retail sales department personnel including Sales Reps, Sales-Trade Show Coordinator and Data Reports Administrator to take company to the next level.
Channels: Boat Retailers, Boat Manufacturers, Boat 'Detailers', Home Improvement Centers, Hardware Co-ops, Supermarkets (GM), Mass Merchandisers, Drug, Catalog, Specialty Stores
Requirements
Candidate qualifications MUST include the following:
- BBA a must, MBA preferred
- Strong command of the English language
- Positive demeanor, 'Can Do' attitude
- Highly professional, self starter, manage own P&L/ Financials
- Strong Excel and Power Point Presentation skills are a MUST
- Cost and cost analysis skills (create/run reports)
- Trade show experience is a MUST (prep and help manage trade show, set up, take down, etc)
- Knowledge of vendor set up (paperwork)- helpful
- Working knowledge of working with different shipping and freight companies; understands shipping methods and sense of urgency under a timelines
- Must be a team player, possess excellent management AND team building skills
- Must possess established strong relations with category buyers, reps and decision makers in various retail segments, (Boat manufacturers, boat retailers, national hardware/home center chains, hardware co-ops, mass merchandisers, price clubs, supermarkets, etc)
- Excellent, persuasive presentation & deal closing skills
- Successfully achieved or exceeded company revenue (20 mil +) and gross profit results
- Effectively manage advertising, promotional and marketing budgets to produce significant bottom-line results
- High travel frequency to visit both established and prospective accounts
- Superior after sales service programs to drive profits for both customers and the company
- Secured additional shelf placement for rapidly expanding product lines
- Deliver and maintain accurate sales forecasting results
- Create and execute annual marketing plan
- Obtain emerging retail channels by establishing marketing and selling strategies
- Maintain long-term, helping relationships with retailers
- Develop major retail business by developing marketing, selling, and business development strategies
- Leverage direct channels by developing marketing and selling strategies
- 5+ years of proven sales management experience required
*Boating enthusiasts, knowledge of boat products and cleaning supplies helpful
