Sales Representative
Qualifications
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to get along well with others.
· Attentiveness, good listening skills
· Familiarity with and/or experience with work performed by NCLLI.
Responsibilities
· Reports to Sales Manager.
· Reports to the office each day, prepared to work a full day.
· Organizes and carries out own selling, supervising and paper-work time.
· Sells to prospects and clients using all available sales tools, e.g.:
o Cold calls
o Client referrals
o Site surveys
· Estimates job costs and quotes to prospects and clients.
· Negotiates contracts and helps prepare bids for certain jobs.
· Writes up original work order with thorough instructions and pictures for Crew Leader.
· Helps department heads handle complaints with clients when needed.
· Helps to collect delinquent accounts.
· Maintains contact with customer during sales process up to job being scheduled. (minimum bi-weekly)
· Coordinates with marketing team to implement creative marketing strategies to meet company’s current work flow needs.
· Maintain good trade relations with those in allied businesses with whom there is reciprocal business.
· Participates actively in other such professional, trade or civic organizations that benefit the industry, the company, the individual and the public.
· Sets up personal sales goals and quotas with immediate supervisor and then does what it takes to meet these goals and quotas.
· Attends sales meetings and training sessions per company policy.
· Keeps own personal sales records necessary in maintaining an organized accounting of communications with prospects, clients and others.
· Shall conduct him/herself in a professional manor and put forth a positive company image at all times.
· Performs other related work as assigned.
