Home Improvement Sales Representative - Full-time / Part-time

Murray Lampert Design, Build, Remodel in San Diego is in search of an experienced home remodeling and construction sales representative. An ideal candidate who knows how to price, has excellent communication skills and is a team oriented person who wants to grow with our business. This is not an entry level position.

You will work within the sales department and be closely involved with our clients from the initial phone call, in-home consultation, through design development and pricing out the out projects. Once the job has started, you will assist the production department to make sure we execute work as sold, answer scope questions, track costs and consult when necessary to ensure the client is completely satisfied.

We are looking for a team member that:

• Is creative and detail oriented has residential remodeling experience

• Has residential remodeling and/or construction experience

• Has a full understand of the construction process, specifically residential remodeling and construction

• Is excellent at identifying our clients remodeling goals by building a relationship through trust, listening attentively and open communication

• Is able to resolve design and building issues/concerns with a homeowner in the design office and on the job

• Knows when to seek advice from other team members and is resourceful to get answers elsewhere

• Is proficient at providing very accurate budget ranges and knows current remodeling/construction costs

• Has the team skills to work with all departments

• Is willing to design, price and execute projects as a team

• Is able to communicate well with other team members

• Has strong customer service and follow through

• Is not afraid to ask for a sale

• Is able to read and interpret construction documents and engineering

• Has strong written & oral communication skills

• Is good at time management, multitasking and have the ability to handle the fast pace

• Is computer literate with strong technical skills

• Wants to partner with a high-quality company that sells based on value, teamwork and integrity and the client experience – not just the lowest price bid
