Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Complete and make accurate entries or transactions into MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems as required.
- Interpret/comprehend transaction details.
- Stores articles in bins, racks, or shelves, according to identifying part number.
- Adjustments of inventory counts and the damage to stock.
- Pulls kits and issue backorders
- Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Store articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
- Fill material request orders from the production floor.
- Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventory stock.
- Requisition articles to fill incoming orders.
- Compile reports on use of stock handling equipment; adjustments of inventory counts and stock records; spoilage of or damage to stock; location of changes.
- Place identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
- Distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
- Make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock.
- Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
- Move or transport material or supplies to other departments.
- Maintain inventory and other stock records.
- Maintains a neat and clean stockroom.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma required
RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in PCB assembly and/or mechanical assembly preferred
JOB COMPLEXITY:
Works on assignments that are routine in nature. Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practices required.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Assignments performed under direct supervision. Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
PHYSICAL EFFORT:

- Visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field of vision.
- The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as visual identification of small parts.
- Must have dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment; hearing and speaking ability to exchange information in person or on the telephone; sight ability to read schematics and information
- Must be able to stand and/or move while performing job duties
- Must be able to bend or reach when performing job duties
- The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Exemplary attendance and punctually
MENTAL EFFORT:
Computer Skills and good written/spoken communication skills; occasional judgment and decision making effort.
EQUIPMENT:
Requires the various types of hand tools
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Requires frequent interaction with all levels of employees. Frequently works around electrical and mechanical equipment
Noise is usually moderate
