HVAC Counter Sales - Full-time / Part-time

PURPOSE:

Identify and serve the needs of our customers and assist them in obtaining products or information.  Provide excellent customer service while filling the many needs of customers.

PRINICIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 •        Manage profitability of supply items by negotiating pricing with customers

•        Process customer orders received in person (at the sales counter) or by phone, fax and E-Commerce to include company transfers and delivery request.

•        Promote new and existing products, upgrades and services to our customers.

•        Assist customers with technical support and problem solving.

•        Locate parts for our customers from various sources.

•        Processing of warranty.

•        Identify prospective/future customers through store or phone sales and communicate prospects to sales team (Territory Managers or Account Executives)

•        Process Cycle Counts and assist in maintaining accuracy of physical inventory.

•        Maintain internal Audit reports to assist in the day to day operations of the Branch.

•        Develop long term business relationships with our customers to help promote sales growth and gain acceptance.

•        Restock and maintain both showroom shelves and product displays.

•        Maintain professional atmosphere of sales facility.

•        Make occasional deliveries using company vehicle.

•        Assist in warehouse duties which include pulling customer orders and putting away stock while occasionally operating a forklift.

•        Other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS

 •        High School Diploma or GED required

•        2 years Customer Service and or Sales Experience

•        2 years experience in the HVAC industry

•        Proficient Computer Skills in MS Office

•        Forklift experience, a plus.

•        Clear driving record

 OTHER INFORMATION

 •        Participate in after-hours On Call schedule and Training Classes

•        Up to 20-25% of compensation based on commission
