_Seeking Skilled SHIFT MANAGER For 2nd Shift

PRIMARY FUNCTION : Develops and mentors associates to allow for their personal development while inheriting better employees allowing for productivity, quality, safety, and personnel policies to be met and or exceeded. Authorizes and verifies permit for all hot work’s safety issues. Conducts annual performance reviews to benefit associates job performance and Atlantic Tool & Die’s productivity.

DUTIES :

  • Monitor the safety and maintenance of the Assembly Plant.
  • Constantly seek ways to improve assembly plant layout and design.
  • Develop and train trainers for new/temporary associates.
  • Deploy associates strategically to exceed production goals, while improving quality and safety.
  • Order supplies for the plant as needed.
  • Improve and increase quality standards to eliminate problems that may occur at current quality levels
  • Participate and be prepared to discuss root problems in quality and production meetings to evaluate assembly procedures & quality, production, and shipping requirements.
  • Assist in maintenance duties when leads and/or machinist need help.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, on time.
  • Issue and maintain Hot Work Permits where required, while ensuring safe operation of activity.
  • In absence or in need of help of a lead/maintenance associate perform all maintenance functions, set-up functions, production assignments, and troubleshooting.
  • Follow all applicable TS16949 policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Generally, perform all other duties as required.

Education / Experience /Training

High School Graduate

4 years Manufacturing Experience
