Pricing Analyst - Full-time / Part-time

Summary:

The Pricing Analyst compiles and analyzes statistical data to establish price objectives for sales transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides daily support to sales force and branch personnel on pricing issues.
• Prepares special customer pricing quotations.
• Prepares pricing models that integrate sales data, cost data, industry information, and current pricing practices to identify revenue-generating opportunities.
• Processes claiming and all related claiming activities, including serial number coordination, with branch personnel.
• Works with accounting, when needed, to clear monthly aging reports.
• Identifies low margin issues.
• Prepares and analyzes reports.
• Coordinates Vendor setup and maintenance as requested - gathering forms, obtain approvals, etc.
• Compiles information from periodicals, catalogs, etc. to keep informed on price trends.
• Other duties and ad hoc reporting as requested.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance preferred or 5 years of related experience.
• 3 years of experience in pricing, financial accounting or business planning desired.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to prepare and analyze data
• Beginner to intermediate user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
