Plastics Injection Team Leaders

Several Team Leads Positions open for Molding ,Paint , Assembly and Quality 

MUST HAVE PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THESE ROLES 

Plastics Injection Positions report to the Injection Molding Department Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties for each of the assigned responsibilities. Starting hourly rate determined by years of experience.

· Lead the shift and participate in team activities to maintain and continuously improve on department/shift performance goals.

· Direct all changes and modifications to the control plan resulting from continuous improvement activities as well as internal or external customer requirements.

· Communicate and liaison with the department manager all data as necessary to ensure timely resolution of quality and downtime issues, and to expedite the brainstorming and decision making process.

· Analyze data to determine statistics, trends, measurable, etc. and take action as required.

· Cooperate with Paint Department, Maintenance, Tooling and Production Scheduling to prevent the further processing of non-conforming product and the effective scheduling of the paint line. Initiate and verify effectiveness of action plans to prevent their reoccurrence.

· Train staff members in ISO/TS16949 requirements for the Injection Molding Department. Ensure strict compliance to all ISO/TS16949 procedures and work guidance.

· Direct Injection Molding Department employees to accurately input data as required ensuring the reliability of information used for departmental reports process capability and materials management.

· Responsible for part quality and has the authority to stop production, if required, to correct quality problems.

· Ensure that all accidents are properly reported and accident investigations are completed within 24 hours.

Education:

· Prefer an Associates Degree but work experience will be given consideration along with a stable work history and plastic injection experience in an automotive parts supplier plant.

· Operational knowledge of management information systems, use of personal computers and application software.
