Right now, we are hiring for full time positions as a sales representative with immediate store manager training. Sales experience is recommended but not mandatory. At Mattress Overstock we offer training and support for all levels of experience. 

We offer an industry leading compensation plan that includes a base pay, uncapped commission and bonus opportunities. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, vision, 401K and paid vacations.

As a Store Manager, you have the opportunity to explore your entrepreneurial side. You will be engaged with inside retail sales, marketing, merchandising and business development while providing the level of service that has earned Mattress Overstock the only A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau in town. 

Sales Manager essential job duties include:

Sales:

• Driving sales to meet or exceed goals
• Executing the company’s selling program
• Providing excellent customer service during and after the sale
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
• Completing assigned training and development
• Participating in company/vendor training classes to remain current on products, offerings, and programs
• Maintaining awareness of competitor’s advertisements and services offered
• Present professional phone etiquette

Location Details:

• Following opening and closing procedures and balancing of books
• Maintain the company's visual merchandise standards within each department and the overall store, including general housekeeping cleanliness
• Assisting in the administrative functions of the store
• Ensuring policies and regulations are followed
• Communicating with management to keep them informed
• Ensuring consistency of store pricing
• Managing the movement of damaged, discontinued, and slow moving merchandise

Job Requirements:

• Candidates should possess superior communication and customer service skills. Though not required, ideal Sales Managers will have experience with inside sales, marketing, and business development.

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a professional environment
• Ability and willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
