Job Description
Smoky Mountain Gold and Ruby Mine, a family owned business, for 30 years located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains in Cherokee NC is looking for a full time experienced bench jeweler. This position will require someone who is skilled in the following:
-Setting gemstones in gold and silver.
-Sizing
-Jewelry repair
-Knowledge of testing metals, diamonds, and gemstones to verify authenticity is a plus.
-Maintain inventory of findings.
We are looking for someone who :
-Can work flexible hours including weekend and holidays.
-Is detailed oriented and takes pride in their work
-Can communicate and interact with fellow workers and customers.
-Is dependable, can pass a drug and background check, and able to be bonded.
-Can work well under pressure and can meet deadlines.
