Entry Level Stock Clerk Needed! (1st and 2nd Shift) - URGENT

Job Title: Stock Clerk

Duration: Temp to Possible Hire (3-6 months)

Location: El Segundo, CA

Pay Rate: $11 - $13 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:

• Three openings on our 1st Shift (6AM to 2:30PM)

• One opening on our 2nd Shift (2:30PM to 11:00PM)

Job Summary: Handle and move material inventory and non-inventory, to and from stores or warehouse locations, package the material required for storage and manufacturing. Complete all required paperwork.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 Receives material, check packaging requirements and may count or weigh material to verify quantity. Forwards all paperwork requiring further processing.
 Stocks all material in its assigned location.
 Pull material per work order, M.S.O., requisition, and complete all paperwork requirements and complete the proper transactions in the system when required.
 Transfers and delivers all material orders for manufacturing, shipping and receiving.
 Removes and processes any material in stock not conforming to quality and workmanship standards.
 Maintains supplies and materials.
 Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Skills and/or Experience Needed:
 One-year equivalent experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 Familiar with computers.

Additional Skills, Education and Experience Preferred (Not Required):
 Prior experience in stockroom for a manufacturing environment.
 Knowledge of work-in- process and inventory using oracle

Physical Demands:
 This position uses a computer terminal to access, input, and retrieve data.
 This position may be subject to frequent or occasional interruptions that may cause a change in immediate priorities and/or work focus.
 While performing duties of this position, employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time and is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and/or bend.
 Must be able to lift and/or move files or boxes weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular/daily basis.
 May be subjected to occasional irregular or extended work hours.
 Must be able to work in an environment that may be subject to occasional loud noises, hazardous materials and chemicals.
