Job Description
Factory Cleaning Equipment, Inc. is currently looking for Shop Assistant for our Aurora, IL location that has the ability to function well as part of a team.
The primary responsibility of the Shop Assistant is to help meet the needs of our customers by assisting with day to day operational tasks. The Shop Assistant must also be comfortable using various computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of the operation of a forklift is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and inspect equipment
- Prepare and mix chemical
- Use forklift to load and unload equipment in and out of the warehouse
- In charge of shipping and receiving equipment
- Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment and shop environment
- Building maintenance duties
- Clean and prep rental and demo equipment
- Prepare supply orders as needed
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager
Educational requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Driving experience
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be over the age of 18.
- Must have a driving record in Good Standing
- Candidates must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License
