What will you do?
You will provide leadership to a project team for the assembly, testing and delivery of automated welding machines. Several Technicians and Control Technicians from various disciplines are involved in the project team. You will be supported by the Lead Engineer. You are a good organizer, and the driving force on the work floor for one or more projects. You discuss the orders, drawings and concepts with the Project Leader and the Engineers. Before starting the assembly phase, you make a plan for processing the project as efficiently as possible. You investigate and plan how many and which employees are required in the execution. You provide daily leadership to the project team and you ensure adequate project progress. You coordinate the supply of components and sub-assemblies from the warehouse. You assess the quality of the activities and contribute solutions for relevant issues. You record changes and take care of the required inspections and tests. Together with the Project Leader, you are responsible for the budget and the planning.
What do we expect of you?
You have completed technical training and have a few years of relevant work experience. You have strong coordinating, organizing and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of LEAN is certainly an advantage, as well as knowledge of mechatronics, welding and control technology. You don't mind occasionally going abroad or traveling for your work, and you master the English languages well.
