Sock Merchandiser – Product Development

We partner with some of the coolest brands in Anime, Gaming, and Entertainment to provide our customers a fashionable, comfortable, and quirky way to express themselves - with their socks!

Everything Legwear, a top leader in the fashion and licensed hosiery industry, is seeking a sock Merchandiser to assist in the development of hosiery product for our licensed brands and core seasonal sock lines.

Responsibilities include:

· Responsible for developing hosiery lines, which can require travel both domestically and abroad.

· Responsible for producing all product development product packs; executing development from concept artwork stage until fully sampled.

· Responsible for submitting product to our licensors for approval. Tracking all approval stages.

· Work alongside the merchandising team to develop key trend strategy by brand and core line.

· Responsible for building customer presentations and may assist in the actual presentation, as needed.

· Works closely with our art department and factories overseas to provide solutions to customer needs.

· Responsible for sample maintenance; receiving, QC, and tagging.

· Organizing samples in showroom

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Creative Suites for Mac primarily in Adobe Illustrator CC, preferred but not required. Must be proficient in excel.

• Interest in fashion and able to follow fashion trends.

• Must have a sense of urgency working with multiple departments to bring product to completion.

• Positively collaborate with all teams and management.

• Must have superior organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, team oriented and multi-task ability to react to change.

Job Type: Full-time

Required education:

• Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree relating to the Fashion or Design industry

Required experience:

• 2-3 year merchandising & product development related experience.
